Privacy and your data
Puente has no accounts and no servers. Everything you do in the app stays on your phone.
What is stored on your phone
- Your name, if you enter it, so the app can greet you.
- Your progress in the plan of salvation and in Learn, your streak and goals.
- The date of your decision, for the My journey counter.
- The verses you save and your preferences, such as language.
- What you write in “Bring it to the cross” is never saved: it disappears when the step ends.
What we don’t do
- We don’t ask you to create an account.
- We don’t collect personal or usage data.
- We don’t show ads or use trackers.
- We don’t sell or share information with anyone.
Moving your progress to another phone
- With iCloud: if you turn it on, your progress is copied to your own iCloud account. Apple manages it and we have no access.
- With a QR code: your progress goes straight from one phone to the other, without passing through any server.
Voluntary gifts
- Gifts are processed by the App Store or Google Play. Puente never receives or stores your payment details.
How to delete your data
- Delete the app: everything stored on the phone is erased.
- To delete the iCloud copy on iPhone: Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage › Puente › Delete Data.
- On Android: Settings › Apps › Puente › Storage › Clear data, or uninstall the app.
Account deletion
- Puente doesn’t create accounts, so there is no account to delete. If we add accounts in the future, you’ll be able to request deletion right here, without reinstalling the app.
This website
- It uses no analytics and no tracking cookies. It only stores a language cookie if you choose one.
- The typeface loads from Google Fonts and the site is hosted on Netlify; both receive technical data such as your IP address in order to show the page.
